The Honda CR-V of which we’re quite fond has been on sale since 1997, and has been through four impressive automotive generations. Lately, however, with Honda updating virtually every member of its product portfolio, it would seem they’ve opted to elevate the CR-V to its fifth generation with new tech, a slightly new look, and fresh engines.
The CR-V doesn’t look that different than the outgoing model, but there are some noticeable changes. The front end has been refined with daytime LED running lamps across the board, and there’s a new set up in the back. A new engine is also available in the form of the same 1.5-liter turbo that powers the Civic, although in this guise, it will make 190 horsepower. The same 2.4-liter naturally aspirated engine that was available in 2016 is also on tap.
