At Gillman Honda in San Benito, our team knows we sell some of the safest, sportiest and most reliable cars on the road today. But we are always excited and appreciative of outside recognition to confirm that. In the recent 6th Annual Hispanic Motor Press Awards, two Honda vehicles took top honors. The 2016 Honda Civic was named “Best Compact Sedan” and the 2016 Honda Pilot was named “Best SUV.”
The Hispanic Motor Press Awards honor the best all-new or greatly refreshed vehicles for Hispanic families. Both the Civic and Pilot were completely redesigned for 2016.
"The all-new Civic and Pilot were designed to define their segments with striking styling, industry-leading safety ratings and advanced technology unmatched by competitors," said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of the Honda Division, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "Receiving these awards from the Hispanic Motor Press for Civic and Pilot validates the efforts of the many Honda associates throughout North America who developed and built these two great new vehicles."
If you’re looking for a compact sedan in The Valley with high performance, striking style and advanced technology, check out the 2016 Civic. The 10th generation model has an aggressive body style, turbocharged 1.5L engine, 7-inch display audio with touch-screen, and a tech center console storage.
Families needing more space will love the 2016 Pilot. The Pilot is incredibly spacious with seating for up to 8 and up to 109.2 cubic feet of cargo space. It also features a panoramic roof, one touch 2nd-row seats, 8-inch display audio touch-screen, and a rear entertainment system.
